About the role:
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Sheetmetal Worker to join our Company, based in Ashmore on the Gold Coast.
Main Duties involve
- Fabrication of Metal products
- Operation of Metal fabrication machinery
- Site Work
- Ensuring component quality
- Materials handling
- Operating a forklift
- Cleaning of work area and tools
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by Operations Manager
An industry background in engineering, fabrication or laser/plasma cutting would give you good grounding to be successful for this job.
About the candidate:
- Tig, Mig experience on Aluminium, Stainless and Mild Steel
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hold a current Australian forklift licence is an advantage
- Well-developed computer skills
- Be reliable, honest, and hardworking
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Training in the operation of machinery will be provided
Demonstration of a good attitude and work ethic will be highly regarded.
