Specialising in Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Communications & Renewable Energy; as a subsidiary of the GenusPlus Group (ASX: GNP). 
 
The Role
GNI are seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to assist with our WA Underground Utilities Team as part of our overall GNI Services WA team. The role is Perth Metro based: Monday-Friday standard working hours.

The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for:

• Conducting audits & inspections
• Assisting in creating, implementing, and closing out of audit action plans
• Assisting in the development of risk assessments (JHAs, CRAWs etc)
• Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications
• Leading incident investigations
• Collecting, analysing, managing, and reporting on SHEQ data (MYOSH database)

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher
• First Aid and CPR Training
• Construction Safety Induction (‘White Card’)
• ICAM lead investigation training
• Current Driver’s License - "C" Class
• National Police Clearance
• Knowledge of WA WHS Legislation, Codes and Standards
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• 5+ years WHS/OHS experience
• Drug & Alcohol testing qualifications
• Training & Assessor qualifications
• Experience in Civils & Power Infrastructure
• IMS Lead Auditor qualifications
• MyOSH Software experience
• Western Power Network familiarisation
