You will be working in a central control room environment of a cement grinding facility. The main duties of the role include cement milling, process control testing, raw material stockpiling and management, as well as electrical maintenance.While reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will work mostly unsupervised, with other operators. A high degree of autonomy in making decisions to ensure good plant availability, output, and quality is required.If you are proactive, adaptable and a flexible self-starter who sets out to achieve and maintain high professional standards for yourself and your colleagues we want to hear from you for this full time and permanent position.Responsibilities include:Safe operations of the cement milling processWorking with stockpiles to ensure continuous supply to the millsConducting quality assurance processes within a laboratory environmentUnderstanding and providing assistance to transport operators with regards to products and loading systemsAssist with the development of initiatives to improve and optimise the reliability of equipment within the PlantWhat you will need to succeedA proven and genuine commitment to positive health, safety and environment outcomesExcellent communication ability with strong interpersonal skills.A willingness to work autonomously and proactively whilst achieving team-based outcomes.Creative problem solving skills with the tenacity and resilience to implement solutionsCurrent electrical licenceCurrent Front End Loader Licence or competency is highly desirableMorgan Cement recognises that diversity in our workforce drives innovation, encourages creativity and better equips us to respond to the challenges of our industry.
