Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to join our team at Club Evans RSL Club. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of various club areas, with a focus on gaming, bistro, TAB, Keno, functions, members, raffles, and promotions. You will be responsible for overseeing these areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests, handling various financial tasks and operational duties. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Supervise and lead the team across gaming, bistro, TAB, Keno, functions, members, raffles, and promotions, ensuring high-quality service and a welcoming environment.
- Financial Tasks: Handle financial responsibilities, including balancing tills, end-of-day and opening processes, and gaming reconciliation..
- Member and Guest Relations: Foster positive relationships with club members and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Event Support: Coordinate and support club events and promotions, ensuring they run smoothly and are successful.
- Staff Training: Provide guidance and training to staff members, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver top-notch service.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management on key performance indicators and areas of improvement.
- Back-of-House Operations: Oversee back-of-house operations, such as inventory management and supplier relationships.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or gaming industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of gaming, bistro, TAB, Keno, and promotional activities.
- Financial acumen, including the ability to handle financial tasks, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and make quick, informed decisions.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
