THE APPRENTICESHIP
Wild Industries, a family-owned business based in Morningside, is a nationally recognised leader in lift refurbishment and metal fabrication. They have been supplying and installing Australia wide for over 40 years. Their factory is modern and well equipped to support the endless demand of specialised engineering and metal fabrication, on-site repairs, high-quality stainless-steel fabrication, lift interiors or indication design and manufacture to their customers.
As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to create a range of components for lift interiors, including panels, ceilings, and other elements. These components will be crafted using a variety of materials such as stones, timber, laminates, and stainless steel. To accomplish this, you will utilise both hand tools and power tools, panel saw and other various electrical tools. There will be site work installations in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast and an opportunity for nationwide travel upon completion of your first year as an apprentice, with Wild Industries.
Some exposure or previous work experience would be favourable but is not essential. Wild Industries are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the industry.
Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified tradesperson in the metal fabrication field and earn your CPC30120 Certificate III in Shop Fitting.
