Showroom Administration & Sales Assistant

We are an ambitious and dynamic team – and due to continued growth, are seeking a Showroom Administration & Sales Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

Our Company specialises in high end Residential Joinery. The successful candidate will require minimal experience as an Administration & Sales Assistant, as on the job training will be provided. Knowledge of Cabinet Making & Design is highly regarded but not essential. This position requires you to work from our Drummoyne Showroom.

Skills and requirements:

  • Sketch up experience preferred.
  • Answering and responding accordingly to all inquiries in a polite and prompt manner. 
  • Administration of Sales, liaising with accounts and entering data in the monthly Sales Report.
  • Following customer quotations as they become orders through the manufacturing and installation processes and providing follow-up service. This includes organising necessary paperwork, transfer and filing to standard procedures.
  • Entering data and maintaining the Company data base (File Maker Pro).
  • Liaising with the Factory, staff, and customers regarding the production of customer orders.
  • Assist in Selling Interfar Furniture to the Public at the Showroom.
  • Maintenance of the Showroom appearance including neatness, cleanliness and assisting with the design and continual upgrading of its presentation.
  • Assisting the other Showroom staff when required with various procedures and tasks that may arise in the day-to-day Showroom Business. 
  • Implement, participate, and promote Company Policies and Procedures, including Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
  • Assisting and organizing photo shoots 
  • Driver's License preferred as you may need to see customers
