ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
The Position
We currently have exciting opportunities for Casual Driver/Utilities to join our remote team working on Curtis Island in Gladstone. This is shutdown work for a 5 week period and you would be required to be available from 11th July – 16th August.
The successful candidate will be local to the Gladstone area and have the ability to work 12 hour shifts, on either days (6am-6.30pm) or nights (6pm-6.30am).
$40.91/hr including 25% casual loading + penalty rates
Your day will include transporting passengers and items to and from the site. In addition, to driving duties this role will also see you working alongside our cleaning and maintenance teams as and when required.
The Person
- Previous driving experience in a similar environment
- MR Licence or above (mandatory)
- Construction White Card (desirable)
- Prior industrial/commercial cleaning experience
- Basic computer skills (essential)
- Exceptional personal presentation & flexible "can do" attitude
- Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
