Shutdown Riggers

About the role
Ventia has a long-standing partnership with Qenos, and we have a casual opportunity for experienced and qualified Riggers to join a shutdown at the Resins plant of their Altona Facility.
The main execution is from 18th - 22nd March but there could be the potential for pre-shut work. This 5-day shutdown might a perfect stint between your major shutdowns!
$49.59 per hour plus 25% casual loading
5 day shutdown, 10 hour days
Please note these dates are open to change due to site requirements and pre-shut works is not guaranteed. This is not a FIFO role and no accommodation or LAHA is been offered.
About you

• Prior experience in similar roles and projects experience with various cranes and lifting equipment.
• Competent developing, implement and following risk assessments.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to permit to work systems and JHA's.
• Ability to use tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct work safely and heights.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work as a Trade Assistant as required.

The successful candidate will have the following tickets & licences:

• High Risk Work License - Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (RI/RA).
• Ability to pass an online pre-employment medical.

Desirable Skills

• Valid Driver's License - Very highly regarded.
• High Risk Work Licence - CN Crane License - Very highly regarded.
• High Risk Work Licence - Open or C9 Crane Licence.
• Working at Heights valid within 2 years.
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces valid within 2 years.
• First Aid Certificate.
