SalaryMeriton Suites is looking to appoint a Shuttle Bus Driver on a casual basis, to provide our guests with exceptional service at our North Ryde property.
About the Role
As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will assist in the safe journey of our guests to and from local destinations. You are comfortable with transporting guests, have a good driving record and enjoy engaging with others in a warm and welcoming manner.
You will have access to Meriton Suites benefits including discounted hotel stays across Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Canberra and Melbourne.
This is a temporary long-service leave coverage position for 6 to 8 weeks with immediate starting date.
Your key responsibilities
- Transport Meriton guests to and from our North Ryde property in a safely manner.
- Coordinate pick-up and drop-off requirements with the Front Office team.
- Assist guests with their belongings and luggage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and compliance of Meriton’s vehicles.
- Keep records of bus maintenance and fuel requirements. Report problems to management.
- Comply with all traffic rules and Meriton’s policies and procedures.
- Engage with guests and team members in a warm and respectful manner at all times.
- Demonstrate authentic customer service at all times.
To be successful in this role you will have
- Immediate start date.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- A welcoming, pro-active and team-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full ability to work Monday – Friday. Full hours available would include split shift commitment (7am to 10am, then 4pm-6:30pm- 5.5 hours work day). Still reviewing applications who can only do the morning or evening shifts Monday - Friday.
- Previous experience in a hotel environment is desirable.
