The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Siebel Developer to join our high performing Information Technology team on an initial 12-month contract.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Understanding business requirements to prepare functional and technical designs
- Developing new functionality for our Siebel CRM system.
- Testing new functions and releasing them into production.
- Providing second and third level support for production systems
- Showing ownership of tasks from design to delivery.
- Interacting with business and other IT teams as required to deliver tasks on time.
- At times, working with external consultants and contractors, and
- Joining our Agile team and participating in SCRUM ceremonies
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a self-starter who thrives on the challenge of innovation and a fast-paced environment.
You will be tertiary qualified in Computer Science (or equivalent) and possess at least 3+ years of relevant work experience working across the full software life cycle, with sound understanding of business and technical aspects, in order to deliver quality software.
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Oracle Siebel Software development experience
- Web development using HTML, CSS and Java Script
- Integration standards such as REST or SOAP
- Working with databases and SQL queries
- Experience in unit testing and functional testing
- Functional design e.g. user stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Desire to learn new technologies and ability to adapt to new ways of working
Other highly desirable skills include:
- Understanding of the Financial Services industry
- Cloud applications/SaaS
- Amazon AWS
