SalaryVentia are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Site Inspector to performs site inspections in accordance with the audit inspection schedule or as directed by Site Inspection Coordinator. This is a permanent fulltime role based in Adelaide.
The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
- Identify non-compliances, regulatory issues, operational issues and non-conforming work practices so that timely and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- For each inspection write a report and engage Agency / site reps to explain the contents and requirements
- Provide recommendations to improve performance and compliance monitoring
- Provide assistance and coordination services of client submissions and the collation of all documentation and support our SHEQ function in ensuring sub-contractor compliance on site
- Undertake reasonable travel intrastate and interstate as required
- Practical application of project management principles
- Ability to review and apply legislation, Work Health and Safety Act, relevant building codes.
- Relevant Trade qualifications is essential
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate (QSC) or Contractor Licence is desirable
- Relevant experience in building inspection, construction site management/inspection or quality inspection in the facilities management industry
- Current Drivers Licence
- OHS General Induction to Construction Certificate (desirable)
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
- Demonstrated written communication and Intermediate IT skills
