Job description

City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an efficient and safety-focused Site Enablement Infrastructure Coordinator to join our Operations Service Unit within our Waste Services team at our Summerhill Waste Management Centre.

As the Site Enablement Infrastructure Coordinator you will be based at Summerhill Waste Management Centre, where our facility operates 364 days of the year.

In this role you will apply your combined operations and machinery operations management and leadership skills to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the Summerhill Landfill and site. Delivering high-quality site presentation, landfill gas capture, landfill airspace master planning & data capture and leachate & stormwater management activities carried out within the Commercial service unit and involves all aspects of operational planning, staffing, and reporting.

Drawing upon your proven experience in the operation of site plant and machinery including but not limited to excavator, dozer, skidsteer loader, front-end loader, grader, and dump truck you will have a strong focus on supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of organisation strategies, policies and procedures.
