ABOUT THE PROJECT
Growthbuilt are excited to have been awarded Design & Construction for a marquee project on the waterfront at Shell Cove Marina. The project consists of a 117-room luxury hotel, 32 serviced apartments and 42 luxury apartments.
The harbourfront Hotel offers extraordinary amenity including a resort-style infinity pool, restaurant, ballroom, day space and gym facilities. Exceptional hotel amenities combine with a world-class marina which will create an experience unmatched in a breathtaking, absolute waterfront setting.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Site Engineer will assist the project team by acting as the liaison between the construction, design and administration elements. The Site Engineer assists with the management of quality and provides technical construction support for all project stakeholders.
Here's what your day to day might look like:
Participate in the development, implementation of ITPs.
Assisting in the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of project quality standards and procedures
Identify issues with the project, drive the development and implementation of solutions
Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance
Review quality of subcontract works on site and communicate them with the project team
Assist with ensuring design is completed to standard and on time to maintain programme
Manage, monitor and control the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders
Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief
Reference tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out - where applicable
Your first 2 weeks will allow you to shadow our Senior Project Engineer while supporting the other project engineers onsite. Our goal is to give you the support you need to bring you up to speed with everything from project work, procedures and learning the Growthbuilt way.
ABOUT YOU
Degree qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum 3+ years post-graduate experience in an engineering role within a tier 1-3 building environment
Proficiency in Procore, MS Suite and Aconex
Experience working on similar size residential, commercial or mixed use projects
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
Ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems
Willingness to learn and develop your skillset
