About the Role
An opportunity has been created for a Site Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure team on an exciting and diverse project in the southern Gold Coast region. This is a full-time role reporting to the Project Engineer, where you will be assisting the project management team with administration, planning and scheduling of daily project activities to ensure project outcomes in accordance with contractual and project plan requirements.
Responsibilities will include
- Ensuring effective programming and construction methodologies;
- Project administration, planning and scheduling
- Assisting in meeting project milestones and ensuring project compliance;
- Conducting quality assurance;
- Assisting in financial reporting;
- Ensuring safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil);
- At minimum, 1 – 2 years’ experience in Engineering in Civil Construction;
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
- Computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Excel and MS Project applications;
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others; and
- High attention to detail.
