The Opportunity
Reporting to the Branch Manager and the Atomic Services team, this role entails delivering on-site vending and KanBan stock replenishment services to diverse customers throughout the Mackay area.
Collaboration with branch warehouse staff, internal sales personnel, Sales Account Managers, and the Atomic Services team is integral to the position.
Job Description
- Responsible for the weekly restocking, counting & maintenance of our vending machines and local vendor managed stock throughout the Mackay area
- Adhere to Atom’s safety protocols and any requirements stipulated by our customers
- Cultivating strong relationships with site contacts to ensure service levels are met, while gathering information on customer activities and plans, communicating these back to the Account Manager.
- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of vending solutions at customer sites
- Maintaining regular contact with the Account Manager to manage customer needs and provide feedback on the daily management of customer inventory.
- Participate in warehouse pick/packing duties during periods when sites do not require your services.
Qualification, skills & experience required for this position;
- 2-3 years’ experience in Warehousing or face to face Customer Service role or similar.
- An energetic individual who is self-motivated and highly organised
- Great customer service skills
- Fast learner
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively deal with high pace pressure & manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, unsupervised and demonstrate reliability
- Computer literacy skills – MS Office (excel)
Other Specific Qualifications to be successful
- A valid driver’s license
- Police background check – clear
- Forklift ticket advantageous
