Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. In this complex and challenging role, you will ensure plant requirements are met and proactively manage infrastructure assets from an engineering perspective. You will be responsible for site water reticulation, dam management, concrete strategy and all civil infrastructure on site. You will provide engineering technical advice and support to maintenance departments and the organisation as a whole. Monitoring, investigating and developing proposals through feasibility studies to determine viability will use your experience to make a difference at the terminal. This is a challenge that requires substantial experience in strategy development and project management of general civil engineering activities within a heavy industry environment. It is similarly crucial that you have exposure to contract management, understand relevant environmental legislation and are able to communicate effectively with management, employees and contractors. You will possess at minimum an Associate Diploma, though a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
