Your opportunity
The Strategic Infrastructure Engineer provides support to the City Assets Group by providing direction on Strategic Infrastructure planning issues and undertakes reviews and analysis of networks to provide direction to stakeholders on the management and planning of Civil and Traffic Infrastructure.
What you’ll bring
We are seeking applicants who have experience in analysing, researching, planning and developing strategies in relation to Civil Infrastructure while meeting community needs and organisation policies. Additionally, highly developed skills to draft correspondence and prepare engineering reports and studies is required. You will need to have good knowledge of civil infrastructure as used in local government environment.
Applicants must have the capability to manage multiple civil projects at one time from inception to delivery, while utilising negotiation, consultation, advocacy, innovation and problem resolution skills to achieve outcomes acceptable to the organisation and community.

Eligibility
- You'll posses a current class C driver licence.
- You'll have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent post graduate Transport Planning or Town Planning Degree and/or related Engineering discipline.
