A Civil Project Engineer is needed to support essential infrastructure projects in Tas

Your new company 

This organisation is a leader in their field and has been pivotal in creating some of Tasmania's essential infrastructure. They are presently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support their technical and construction teams.   

Your new role 

This exciting opportunity will see you involved with all aspects of concrete bridge construction and replacements. You'll be providing engineering expertise to support a raft of works including upgrades, bridge repairs and structural remediation works. You'll be providing onsite engineer expertise to support construction whilst adhering to design, specification, environmental and quality requirements. You'll also be pivotal in fostering a high safety culture whilst delivering on contractual terms and conditions. As the business produces its own pre-cast products, you'll also be required to extend your expertise to include the manufacturing of concrete panels, sections and pre-stressed beams. 

What you'll need to succeed 

You'll need to be an experienced Project Engineer with a recent history in delivering infrastructure works in Tasmania. You'll need an understanding of the Department of State Growth and local government compliance and project guidelines. You'll ideally have experience working for a civil contractor here in Tasmania with formal qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
