Position Summary:


As the Site Supervisor Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of our project, acting as the primary eyes and ears on the ground for our Construction Manager (CM), who oversees multiple sites. 

Your role is critical in maintaining the flow of information, ensuring that our construction activities align with our schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

We are currently embarking on one of our major projects in Strathalbyn, aiming to construct 30 homes over the next two years. 

To facilitate this ambitious project, we seek a highly motivated and organized Site Supervisor Assistant, reporting to the Primary Construction Manager, to ensure our high standards are maintained across all phases of construction.

Position Summary:
As the Site Supervisor Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of our project, acting as the primary eyes and ears on the ground for our Construction Manager (CM), who oversees multiple sites. Your role is critical in maintaining the flow of information, ensuring that our construction activities align with our schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Coordination: Act as the primary on-site contact, overseeing construction activities to ensure they align with architectural plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Quality and Safety Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to enforce adherence to safety standards and quality expectations, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key communication hub, coordinating with the Construction Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Team Leadership and Motivation: Support and motivate on-site personnel, fostering an environment of productivity and quality workmanship.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, contributing to the project's overall success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, with a keen understanding of construction methods and safety practices.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities, able to manage and inspire a diverse team to achieve excellence.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of making decisive actions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective teamwork and stakeholder management.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with construction management software and tools.
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role.
