About this position
The City of Gosnells Engineering Construction Team is offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to undertake the role of Skidsteer Operator/General Hand. This position assists with the construction of municipal civil projects for the City.
This is a permanent position and is based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices particularly in relation to civil works
Sound knowledge of engineering construction techniques and standards
Ability to operate safely adjacent to public utilities
Ability to work in a team environment and assist in all aspects of the Engineering Construction section
Essential requirements
Current MR class driver's licence
White Card
Skid steer Plant Operator Certificate
Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
