We're currently in search of a 2 full-time joiners to join our dedicated team.
The Role:
As a Skilled Carpenter/Joiner, you will have the opportunity to apply your craftsmanship in the creation of high-quality doors and components.
- Work within a modern workshop equipped with cutting-edge machinery, conveniently located near the M1.
- Immediate start.
- Enjoy a permanent, full-time position.
Your roll will involve:
- Utilizing your in-depth knowledge to manufacture and assemble joinery, including routed and flush panel doors.
- Preparation of cutting lists, as well as interpretation of shop drawings and specifications.
- Apply your proficiency with CNC machinery and other advanced tools.
- Using your skills in cutting, moulding, and assembling doors and related components.
- Promote a clean and safe work environment.
- Engage in valuable communication with your colleagues and trainees.
About You:
Hold a Qualification of either Certificate III and/or IV in Carpentry and/or Certificate III in Joinery
- Knowledge in joinery construction methods.
- Must be willing to be trained to high finishing standards.
- Exemplary workmanship with an unwavering attention to detail.
- Skilled in high-end joinery detail work.
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Capable of independent work and unsupervised operation of static wood machinery.
- Able to comprehend shop drawings and cutting lists.
- Skilled in working with solid timber, timber veneers, and prefinished materials.
- Proactive approach problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Adept at collaborating within a team environment.
- Extensive background in cabinetmaking or shop fitting with construction knowledge.
- Experience in timber door manufacturing is a favorable asset.
Work hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
Total of 38 working hours per week.
