Overview:
Core Talent are working alongside a large family known company who specialise in major infrastructure projects, bulk earthworks, sewer and water & roadworks. They are currently in a growing phase and require experienced local skilled labour to join their team!

Job Description:
As an experienced skilled labourer/pipelayer you will be an integral part of the civil team, responsible for working closely within the pipe crew team. You will be working locally and there is opportunity to work away when required on a set roster.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labour tasks such as digging trenches, backfilling excavations, and compacting soil.
• Assist with the assembly and alignment of pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Always follow established safety procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow on job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and address any issues that arise.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.

Requirements:

• Construction White Card
• Machine tickets bonus
• Previous experience as a pipelayer or working alongside a pipelayer within the pipe crew
• Must be local to Townsville
