Skin Therapist

Laser Skin Clinic – Medical & Cosmetic is a Canberra based boutique laser and cosmetic clinic offering a wide range of laser treatments focusing on skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing skin treatments. Our clinic is well established having been in operation for over 20 years.

As a Skin Therapist you will work both independently and in conjunction with our Registered Nurse to offer our clients the highest of standard in aesthetic care.

The suitable applicant will have minimum of one year experience in undertaking laser treatments or have formal laser qualifications. However, training will be provided if the right candidate does not have sufficient training and experience.

The successful applicant must have the following:

• Minimum Certificate III in Beauty Therapy
• Able to work independently and effectively as a team player where you are ready, willing and able to support the clinic team.
• Ability to provide comprehensive professional consultations 
• Experience undertaking laser treatments
• Excellent bedside manner
• Drive and enthusiasm for continual improvement.
• Work Authorisation for Australia.

Currently, the clinic operates one day a week until 7 pm and we do not open on weekends. Other weekdays we close at 5 or 5.30pm. We are not open on the weekends. 

The position is currently on a part-time basis of 16 - 25 hours per week across two - three days.

Remuneration package can be negotiated depending on experience. For an experienced therapist you can expect to start with at least $35 per hour and be able to earn generous bonuses based on performance and results.
