To support our operations in Australia, SLB Land Rigs is looking for qualified Trades Personnel - Electricians and Mechanics - residing in Australia or New Zealand to join our Schlumberger Land Rigs teams.

Points of assembly for this project are Adelaide, Toowoomba and Brisbane. 

If you reside in a location that is outside these regions, you point of mobilisation will be the nearest major airport.

General Requirements:

• Have the full right to live and work in Australia
• Physical strength and stamina
• The ability to work long hours and in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to work at heights
• Able to follow directions and company policies
• Must be able to complete on job and other training within allocated time
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Valid manual driver’s licence
• Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations
• Must be a team player, good communicator, have sound safety appreciation, time management and competent computer skills
• Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons; 12 hours a day, for extended periods away from home location. Manual labour required
• Clean National Police Clearance Record (less than 1 month old)

Minimum General Certifications (Preferred, though training support can be provided to the right candidate)

• Industry Safety Induction (formally DCGI)
• First response to fire incidents (less than 4 years old)
• Operate Breathing Apparatus (less than 1 year old)
• First Aid (including CPR) (less than 3 years old)
• Enter and work in Confined Space with Gas Test Atmospheres (less than 2 years old)
• Wellsite Permit to Work (Holder) (less than 2 years old)
• Working at Heights with Gotcha Kit (less than 3 years old) 
• Operate Vehicles in the Field (4WD certificate) (less than 5 years old)

Electricians will have additional valid certifications (additional to general certifications):

• Electrical Licence (for required state)
• Electrician Trade Certificate
• Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) (less than 3 years old)
• Perform rescue from a live LV panel (Preferred, though training support can be provided to the right candidate)

Mechanics will have additional valid certifications (additional to general certifications):

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (Diesel or Heavy Vehicle)
