About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Slitter Machine Operator to join our client's warehouse in Oakleigh. As this role includes a number of diverse responsibilities, it would ideally suit candidates with previous Slitter Machine experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate slitting machines to cut and re-roll material according to specific job requirements.
- Adjust and set up machinery, ensuring correct specifications are met for each job, including blade position, tension and speed.
- Conduct regular quality checks during the slitting process
- Strictly adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, specifications, and any issues encountered during the slitting process.
- Perform routine maintenance on slitting machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Work together with fellow team members to guarantee a seamless production process and achieve production goals.
Attributes and Skills Required:
- Previous experience operating a Slitter Machine
