Small Group Instructor And Personal Trainer

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing and fun person who has a passion for health and fitness and loves functional training to join our small dynamic team. We are looking for a coach who is interested in the fitness industry and has a minimum of 2 years experience in the industry as a personal training and Small Group Instructor. 

5th Element Fitness is boutique functional training studio located in Fremantle, in the heart of the iconic West End heritage zone. We have been operating for 10 years and specialise in functional training, high intensity training, strength training and Personal training. We offer 3 signature Small Group sessions; FHIT (functional high intensity interval training), Boxing and Lift. 

The position we are offering as a part-time Group Instructor and Personal Trainer with approximately 18-30 hours per week has the potential to quickly become a permanent full-time position.

Applicants must be a qualified Personal Trainer and class instructor or equivalent and have a minimum of 2 years previous experience. Applicants must be capable in one or more of the following areas; high intensity interval training, boxing, kickboxing, power lifting, olympic lifting, strength and conditioning. Applicants must provide:

We enjoy talking to people and we try and make every interaction with our customers an experience. We have a wide variety of clients from kids to the elderly, those with special needs, mums, dads and those starting out on their fitness journey. We cater for everyone and applicants must be understanding of the complete beginner but comfortable with the elite athlete. 

The successful applicant must be capable of working on their own, without supervision. 5th Element Fitness will provide on the job training and we understand some applicants may not possess all the skills we deliver but if you are willing to learn, we can teach you. 5th Element will also provide funding towards some external training courses. Our coaches are paid a base rate, above the Fitness Industry Awards, plus bonuses and incentives.
