Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance and shutdown works to the Energy Division. We are looking for an Resource Estimators to work on SMP scopes in our Energy division. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a SMP background that wants to settle into a Perth based role working Monday to Friday. You will be working for a tier 1 Energy client and occasionally travel to site where you will receive a generous site uplift.

Role responsibilities:

  • Interface with operations, maintenance, engineering and outside vendors and subcontracted personnel to obtain specific information in relation to maintenance requirements
  • Provide expert advice, support, technical or functional information (related to estimating and work pack preparation) as required.
  • Development and coordination of Mechanical work packs and supporting documentation to ensure efficient execution
  • Coordinating maintenance activities in accordance with client procedures and standards, through to implementation of maintenance execution plans
  • Overseeing the full spectrum of planning, taking into account materials, resourcing and equipment procurement
  • Maintaining and developing a knowledge base of maintenance management systems and planning tools with daily use of SAP and supporting documentation to ensure efficient execution
  • Assisting in the identification of risk and development and implementation of suitable mitigation strategies
  • Reporting activity status (Schedule management)

What you will bring:

  • Mechanical trade or engineering qualification
  • Piping experience essential
  • Knowledge and experience working in an onshore or offshore maintenance environment
  • Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP system
  • Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • A "Can do attitude' that's able to work autonomously or in a team driving work scope development from notification through to execution with minimal support.
  • A willingness to travel to site as per business requirements.
  • Desirable but not essential: P6 planning tool experience.
