About the role
Local Land Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Agricultural Advisor to:
- Support customers in relation to drought planning, preparedness, response and recovery in conjunction with the Drought and Innovation Hubs in NSW
- Develop and deliver agricultural drought preparedness programs and advisory services
- Support regional agricultural producers to improve productivity whilst sustaining and managing our landscapes
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Local Land Services and region strategic plans, and Local Plans.
This role is available in locations throughout the Hunter region.

About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of current agriculture and drought preparedness best practices and the ability to maintain a working understanding of regulatory responsibilities
- High quality project management and advisory skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively foster stakeholder and customer relationships
- Prioritisation and multitasking skills to effectively manage a high workload environment
- Current valid NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel
