  • Temporary Full-Time position until December 2024
  • Location negotiable across Hunter LLS Region
  • Salary starting from $106,025.00 pa + super 

About the role 

Local Land Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Agricultural Advisor to:

  • Support customers in relation to drought planning, preparedness, response and recovery in conjunction with the Drought and Innovation Hubs in NSW
  • Develop and deliver agricultural drought preparedness programs and advisory services
  • Support regional agricultural producers to improve productivity whilst sustaining and managing our landscapes
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Local Land Services and region strategic plans, and Local Plans.

This role is available in locations throughout the Hunter region.

About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of current agriculture and drought preparedness best practices and the ability to maintain a working understanding of regulatory responsibilities
  • High quality project management and advisory skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively foster stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Prioritisation and multitasking skills to effectively manage a high workload environment
  • Current valid NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel
