About us
The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services. 
About the role
The Victorian Government Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) is seeking a SOAR Developer to join our team.
The CDC sits within the Department of Government Services. It provides the Victorian Government with incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability scanning and other services. Many of these services are or are planned to be automated or orchestrated using our SOAR Platform.
The SOAR Developer operates within the Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) with the main duties being the design, development and implementation of use cases in the SOAR Platform. This also includes documenting these in our JIRA and Confluence platforms.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in development using python and / or SOAR Platforms.
* Demonstrated experience and skills in using JIRA and confluence.
* Basic knowledge of cloud system administration and / or database management.

This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia who can attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
