Social Worker Senior

Adult Community Browns Plains are looking for a Social Worker – Senior to join their Browns Plains Community Health Central team. The purpose of this role is to deliver senior social work services within Browns Plains Adult Mental Health Team, Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services.

About the Role

• Acts as a clinical reference point with the social work team and responds to every-day clinical demands.
• Lead and collaborate on the development of evidence-based clinical practices, policies and protocols within Addiction and Mental Health Services.
• Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to social work related complex decision making under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
• Adapt routine clinical practice as required based on clinical evidence with minimal supervision and a high degree of independence.
• Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence based practice under the guidance of senior staff.
