About BRAMS

Established in 1978, Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) was the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service Provider in Western Australia. Your new opportunity

Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) now has an exciting opportunity for full-time or part-time, NDIS/Aged Care Social Workers to join the multidisciplinary healthcare team in Broome, WA, collaborating closely with both internal and external service providers to enhance the health outcomes of our Aboriginal community.

You will have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers by providing person-centred social work support, across various programs.

As an Aged and Disability Social Worker you will have the opportunity to provide personalised support to frail aged people and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, you will support the delivery of groups within the Psychosocial team.

About You 

With a relevant tertiary qualification, you will also bring a current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Accredited Mental Health Social Workers will also possess a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In addition, you should thrive in a team environment and prioritise collaboration over isolation. A solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to take on varied work, regardless of whether it is structured or non-structured, are essential qualities for this position. What you'll receive

In addition to the opportunity to cement your career, you'll be rewarded with a highly attractive remuneration package, a base salary of circa $95,000-$110,000 (Commensurate with experience), plus super and benefits including; 

  • Salary sacrificing up to $15,900 annually
  • 6 weeks Annual Leave
  • Annual remote allowance, after 12 months of continuous service
  • Relocation allowance
