Our federal client is seeking a Full StackSoftware Developer to create and maintain mission-critical digital and data products, driving efficiency and transformative reforms in agricultural export and biosecurity systems.
Duties:
- Offer technical leadership and guidance throughout a large, complex project.
- Develop and refine software according to the user needs identified by the team.
- Produce clear, secure, and well-tested code that is easy for others to reuse.
- Collaborate with team members to comprehend the project requirements.
- Manage and resolve issues in services developed by the team during production.
- Partner with other developers to continuously enhance the overall code quality.
- Create efficient solutions that meet user needs using both frontend and backend technologies.
- Ensure a test-driven or behavior-driven development process with continuous integration and delivery.
Required Skills
- Proficient in managing software on cloud platforms, particularly with platform-as-a-service models and twelve-factor app methodologies, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive background with client-side JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and backend technologies like Node and Express.js.
- Valuable experience with additional JavaScript tools and libraries, including Webpack, Babel, and Jasmine.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and SASS.
- Comprehensive knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and refining software within agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong grasp of patterns for creating maintainable and scalable web applications.
- Effective team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Naturally inquisitive, collaborative, and supportive.
- Possesses relevant tertiary qualifications.
