Your new company
A large banking client is looking for Software Developers to be a part of a squad within the Mobile crew. You will be working with engineers on backend APIs for the banking app. They offer regular opportunities to work on some of the finest IT systems in Australia, as well as the opportunity to develop careers across different functions and teams within the wider Bank.
Your new role
You'll be hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing microservices, data access layers, REST API(s), and writing integration services for third-party API consumption, managing risk with safe deployments and automated testing, as well as learning more about back-end engineering

- We don’t expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:
- Proven hands-on experience in developing backend applications using C# .NET Core, REST APIs and WebAPI
- Demonstrated knowledge of microservices and REST API Integration
- The ability to create database designs for both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake)
- Building and hosting technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Source code control tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity), CloudFormation + AWS Code Pipeline, Azure DevOps)
- One of the following cloud hosting platforms: Microsoft Azure – desirable, AWS cloud
- Familiarity with public cloud engineering - AWS or Azure and Kafka/event-based architecture
- Understanding of monitoring tools and CI/CD pipeline.
Permanent Opportunity, Sydney/WFH, $1,10,000-$1,40,000 + Super/ year
