About the team

The design system team is responsible for the delivery of foundational tokens and reusable UI components upon which many of our products are built. We are an agile team of designers and developers who collaborate with our various internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver flexible, maintainable and scalable solutions.

About the role

As a developer within our team, you will work collaboratively with other developers and designers to build a new React Native based component library. Using agile methodologies, you will aid the team in solving big problems that build accessible, scalable, and beautiful experiences.

If you share our passion for learning, collaboration, and sharing knowledge across the wider business, then you will be a wonderful asset to our team.

Please note this role is an 18 month fixed term contract.

The skills you'll need

- Hands on experience developing mobile-specific applications and experiences.

- A curiosity about developing feature-rich User Interfaces utilising mobile platform fundamentals.

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Proficient in React Native framework.

- Transition designs and existing React components into React Native.

- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

- Proven interest in developing UI component libraries.
