Requirements:
In this role, you are responsible for:
- Resolution of issues and implementation of customer requirements and business objectives as part of a squad
- Champion our values (Care, Openness, Delivery, and Empowerment) in all interactions, projects, and deliverables you execute on
- Team collaboration for planning, estimation, execution of sprint goals, and involved in cross-team collaboration when required
- Contributing to the technical design and architecture of software and platforms
- Supporting and promoting an Agile development environment
- Driving code quality by conducting code reviews and implementing unit tests
- Contributing to developmental technology experimentation, selection, and implementation
Knowledge & Experience Required
Must have:
- Proven engineering experience and capability to perform at a Software Engineer level
- Experience developing backend software and APIs in Java
- Experience in backend databases such as SQL Server
- Experience in frontend frameworks and languages such as Angular, React, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with web based architectures such as REST APIs
Good to have:
- Experience in agile development practices
- Computer Science / Software Engineering degree an advantage
- Cloud infrastructure experience an advantage
- Experience in frameworks and languages such as Node, .Net platform, and C#
Skills and Behaviours:
- Organisational, communication, and documentation skills with experience encouraging a culture of collaboration
- Passionate about technology and applications/platforms
- Down-to-earth, make it happen, analytical and detail oriented with a strong drive and innovative approach.
