Reporting into Software Director you will be responsible for the creation of value and differentiation to customers by providing software solutions, systems and architecture pre-sales expertise and providing specialist software pre-sales support to the national sales force to meet the high growth goals of the business. Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to
: Support the sales team through promoting, demonstrating and designing software solutions based on Schneider and AVEVA platforms Articulate to customers the business benefit of proposed solution Assist customers in the evaluation and definition of the architecture (including licensing) given their requirements and constraints Explain the technical advantages of the proposed systems, architecture and products Engage with the Projects & Services teams and selected Partners to ensure the success of projects About You We’re not looking for just anyone, we never have. We don’t want to narrow the field; however, we do believe that instrumental to your success in this role will be the following skills Degree or Diploma engineering / computer science / software engineering / or Business-related discipline preferred Minimum of 5 years related industry experience in control system engineering, together with end user engagement. Demonstrated sales experience is desirable Application design or validation background Ability to build long term, customer focused relationships Customer centric approach to solution outcomes Desire for knowledge and to learn everyday Strong communication skills to articulate complex solutions That’s all the functional stuff but equally critical is your energy, curiosity, customer focus and ability to collaborate extensively, remaining a selfless and committed team player.
