The role

  • Full time, Continuing 
  • Level 5 - $77,142 to $84,218 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga 

You will apply your interest in soil management to contribute to the development of new practices which may improve resilience of Australian farming systems to both changing climatic conditions, and global requirements for supply chain sustainability reporting. Focusing on creating and maintaining networks with farmers, researchers and farming systems groups. 

You will bring excellent technical writing and data analysis skills and will be able to effectively communicate and engage with farmers and farming group staff in the planning and delivery of on-ground demonstration sites.

About you 

  • Relevant degree in Agricultural Science or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
  • High level written and oral communications skills, including presenting 
  • Understanding of key soil science concepts
  • Ability to build strong partnerships, networks and relationships to achieve work objectives
