Solar Roofer/Solar Installer

We specialise in providing customised solar solutions and take a hands on approach for each customer. As our needs grow we are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Roofer, you will play a crucial role in our solar installation projects, ensuring the safe and efficient electrical connection of solar systems.

 As a Solar Roofer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar panels on rooftops.

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops, following industry best practices and safety guidelines
• Assist with setup of Edge Protection and harnessing
• Assess and prepare roofs for solar panel installation
• Secure solar panels to roofs using appropriate mounting systems and techniques
• Collaborate with electricians and other team members to ensure proper wiring and electrical connections of solar panels
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed solar systems
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself, team members, and clients
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during installation

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a roofer or in a similar construction-related role
• Valid Drivers License 
• Valid Working at Heights Certification
• Familiarity with various roofing materials and techniques
• Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship skills
• Ability to work comfortably at heights 
• Knowledge of electrical components and wiring is a plus
• Basic understanding of solar PV systems is a plus
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow safety protocols
• Valid driver's license
