The APM IT team consists of over 100 staff in the APAC region and over 200 globally assisting APM group to make a difference in the community by delivering quality outputs to support our frontline staff to enable better lives. The Role

A new permanent role within the Digital Delivery team. You will be responsible for defining solution requirements and specifications by working closely with internal clients and stakeholders to identify their needs and define the technical requirements for new systems or applications. You will work closely providing technical guidance and support to developers, engineers, and other team members throughout the definition, deployment and development processes.

In this role you will:

  • Develop Solution Architectures and Designs based on the requirements and specifications, inclusive of designing the required cloud and software components, and the related data flows.
  • Review and provide assurance over Solution Architectures and Designs delivered by vendors.
  • Ensure that designs align with APM’s architectural standards, patterns and security framework.
  • Identify potential risks and issues associated with the systems and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Recommend appropriately aligned technologies and tools.
  • Guide Solution Architectures and Designs through appropriate governance and approval steps.
  • Estimate tasks and activities and providing advice to project managers in planning the design and implementation phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to ensure solutions are developed according to the specifications, requirements and business outcomes.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Relevant technical certifications and Solution Architecture experience covering Microsoft Cloud and related technologies.
  • Minimum 3 years corporate Solution Architecture experience, ideally with exposure to Azure AAD, VM’s, Networking, Storage, App Service, SQL, API Gateway and Data Lake
  • Cyber Security understanding and ability craft solutions within cyber constraints.
  • Experience of delivering architecture services in a matrix organisation.
  • Experience in developing strategies to improve cloud adoption, drive operational efficiencies, improve processes, and generally adopt a spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Mentoring stakeholders through change and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Compliance Requirement: Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
