Role Title: Solution ArchitectStart Date: 01/07/24End Date: 30/06/25Daily Rate: $950-$1000 +Super (8 hours/day)Location: Parramatta / WFH Hybrid - 1-2 days a weekThe Solution Architect role will have a focus on the Application and Solution Architecture Domain and will be responsible for identifying dependencies, developing solutions and working with the technical SME's.About You:
- Extensive and demonstrated previous experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment.
- Experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Hands on experience in successfully delivering major business solutions into implementation within a large, complex enterprise IT environment.
- Demonstrated experience guiding and collaborating with multi-disciplinary technical teams covering multiple domains.
- Superior analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skills with emphasis on developing quality solution specifications.
- A working knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL and a demonstrable understanding of solution design best practice and application.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability.
- Define and design technology solutions, within the agreed program architecture, to assist the business in meeting their business objectives.
- Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with organisational key stakeholders and developers to ensure that the needs of the business are being met by the architecture teams.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform recommended IT solutions across a range of organisational business and technical systems and devices.
- Support the development and maintenance of service catalogue collaborating with program architecture, digital product owners and both technical and business subject matter experts during solution development.
