BŌS Restaurant - Sommelier / Beverage Manager opportunity

We are now looking for a Sommelier / Beverage Manager to join our BŌS family.
The Role
BŌS is all about serving a great product with passion, humour and expertise. This is a role that will see you curating our wine and beverage lists, managing all beverage stock holdings, and training our staff to love wine as much as you do.
The Role
- You will be responsible for all aspects of wine and beverage service, weekly beverage stocktakes and beverage control
- You will work on the restaurant floor selling amazing wine to our discerning guests
- You will work with the front-of-house team delivering exceptional service, whether it be through your wine sales, or helping to clear a table - as a team we are all about amazing service
- You will work with our suppliers to ensure that no delivery docket goes unnoticed and unsigned - you will be the friendly but strict GATE-KEEPER of all wine deliveries
- As part of the leadership team, you will also help drive beverage sales, and develop, train and mentor staff
- You will manage the POS for all wine within the business
- You will drive a culture ensuring fun and informative wine and beverage training sessions with our dedicated staff
Your skills
- We want someone that has an amazing eye for detail and is super organised
- You will have solid wine and beverage knowledge – ideally WSET certifications under your belt
- You will know how to manage stocktakes, ordering & stock management
- You will have sound knowledge of the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry, alongside an extensive knowledge of cocktail, spirits, wine, and beer and what is on trend.
- You will be the type of person the likes to promote a positive and productive crew culture
- And you will display a positive, helpful and polite attitude towards guests and crew
