Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across a wide range of clinical areas, including but not limited to general, obstetrics, gynaecology, small parts, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality while conducting scans.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Adhere to best practice standards and protocols for diagnostic imaging.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Medical Imaging or Sonography.
- Current registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and APHRA.
- Proven experience as a Sonographer in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and service excellence.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards in diagnostic imaging.
