SOURCING ANALYST Our Client Our client is focused on advancing the role of Australian resources in meeting the region’s demand for significantly more energy with fewer emissions. Our client sells a wide range of products and services to retail, as well as commercial customers from industries including, maritime, aviation, racing, and transport, sharing global expertise, research and development with Australian business partners, customers, and community stakeholders. The Deal New opportunity exists for a Hybrid Snr Sourcing Analyst to manage end-to-end Sourcing projects as per business request, manage sourcing projects related to demand from client’s customer and products business covering marketing and retail assets scopes, including: source selection, contract negotiation, and contract creation & maintenance. Key Duties
Drive and manage sourcing and contracting projects of low or medium complexity
Ensure that the business requirements are well-understood and properly covered in the sourcing process
Identify value levers and opportunities to maximize value for client in the marketplace
Develop Sourcing strategy in accordance with the respective Category strategy with guidance from senior team members if required
Define approach to market and develop source selection criteria based on the business priorities and requirement
Manage and coordinate the supplier selection process to ensure the most ideal option is chosen
Manage all relevant stakeholder and supplier interactions and relationship throughout the sourcing project
Negotiate and agree on relevant contract terms with suppliers
Develop and modify contract content based on templates and manage the approval process
Generate reports (status, summary etc.) and analyze data depending on the project requirements
Take an innovative approach and support/lead continuous process improvement initiatives
Effectively represent the Team in the respective categories in conversations with other teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
Take an innovative approach proposing improvement initiatives that result in long term solution.
What You Need To Bring To The Table
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience is required (preferably in business studies)
3-5 years of relevant analysis / sourcing experience, gained preferably in a multinational environment
Understanding of the end-to-end Procurement process
Experience in sourcing of services and commodities
Knowledge of contracts and legal terms
Sourcing strategy preparation, coupled with a good understanding of commercial orientation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Must be PR and possess valid permit to work in Australia or Citizen for Australia.
Proven experience in dealing with external partners, especially with suppliers
Experience with contract creation, negotiation and maintenance
Fluent in English is mandatory
Knowledge of navigating the supply market and supplier selection
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent time-management and task prioritization skills
Experience in Supplier Selection methods, Supplier Performance Management activities
Strong motivation to further develop sourcing & category knowledge
Proactive and innovative approach
Any Retail Asset (equipment purchase and maintenance, construction & maintenance services) category specific experience is an advantage
Experience managing / supporting petrol station retail network is an advantage
Software Experience
Proficient desktop computing experience
Experience working with Ariba / Salesforce system environment is an advantage
