Souschef/Headchef at the Mayflower Group

The Mayflower Group is looking for talented and dedicated kitchen staff to join our team across three fantastic locations: Darlinghurst, St Leonards, and our upcoming Chatswood store.

Position Available: Kitchen Staff (Sous chef or Head Chef)

Locations: Darlinghurst, St Leonards, and Chatswood (coming soon)

Job Types: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Assist in food prep, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.Cooking: Assist with cooking and grilling various dishes.Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.Quality Control: Assist in quality checks to ensure every dish meets our standards.Adherence to Safety: Comply with food safety and hygiene guidelines.

For more senior roles: Menu development, staff management, cost management, inventory management

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen experience is a must. A passion for food and a desire to learn.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.A strong sense of teamwork.
