We're now looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our 5-star rated Customer Sales and Service team.
Position Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at RED SHED, you will play a vital role in supporting our Customer Sales and Service department's daily operations. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences, handling product inquiries, transacting sales, and resolving issues with professionalism and a customer-centric mindset. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a supportive and collaborative team, ensuring our standards for service excellence are met with every customer interaction.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt, courteous, and effective service in person and over the phone.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with solution-based efficiency, escalating complex cases to the Customer Service Supervisor or manager as necessary.
- Maintain good product knowledge and understanding of RED SHED's services to offer accurate information and support to customers.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Supervisor to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced service quality.
- Collaborate with RED SHED warehouse team members to achieve team and individual performance goals.
Desired Qualifications and Skills (GREAT TO HAVE TO FIT IN TO OUR HIGH-PERFORMING SERVICE TEAM ):
- Trade/Mechanical qualifications and hands on experience with heavy vehicle Spare Parts highly desirable
- Not scared of hard work. This role can be physically demanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your attitude is everything
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities. We like quick thinkers.
- Experience in customer service roles preferred, but not a deal breaker if you don't have any.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment. We get busy at RED SHED Central!
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with customer service software systems is an advantage.
- A proactive, customer-centric approach to service delivery.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in customer service are definitely a plus.
