UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are currently seeking applications for a Parts Coordinator (rotables) to join the rollingstock maintenance team based between our Mackay office and occasional travel to our Nebo maintenance facility. This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis.
The role of Parts Coordinator (rotables) is to maintain the rotable parts business, manage the end-to-end process returning defective equipment to a serviceable state.
You will coordinate sales and service orders with relevant departments including the supply chain, vendors and others as necessary to ensure the highest level of service and Customer’s expectations are met and making sure all rotable parts are installed and dismantled in SAP
About the role
· Prepare and provide Sales Quotations to meet customer’s requirements in a timely manner.
· Process customer orders in a timely manner.
· Ensure all rotable parts are installed and dismantled in SAP.
· Raise Sales Orders and issue Sales Order Acknowledgements to customers.
· Provide Customer with order updates as necessary.
· Liaise with relevant internal departments on sales order fulfilment.
· Contribute as necessary to Performance reporting.
· Ensure timely delivery of materials.
· Communicate effectively with customers both internal and external in relation to their orders
· Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements.
· Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Maintenance Planner
About you
· Strong systems and information management skills.
· Exposure to SAP highly desired.
· Knowledge of quality management systems highly desired.
· Strong communication skills (oral & written)
· Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment
· Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email
