Estia Health Ringwood is a welcoming home, providing quality care to the local community. With a choice of accommodation located on campus alongside the Waldreas Retirement Village, the home is opposite Ringwood Golf Club and just a short drive from shops and other community services. Estia Health Ringwood Home is situated 1.5 km away from Knox Private Hospital, Wantirna.

Estia Health Ringwood are looking for experienced Personal Care Attendants/Assistants (Specialised Dementia Carers) to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis, within our Dementia Care Unit. 

The role involves providing tailored care to the residents who are living with dementia and their families.

Every individual in our homes has a story. You’ll get to know each one as you:

• Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed.
• Provide individualised care and support to residents living with dementia, including assistance with emotional support 
• Work with our team to support those with challenging needs.
• Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active.
• Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments and providing medication under a registered nurse.
• Be a friend to our residents.
• Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.

You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• A certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
• Relevant knowledge and experience of working with residents living with dementia
