In this job you will:
As a Local Freight Officer at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grown professionally. Use your talents to lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology
- Secure delivery of items within specified time frames;
- Movement of Goods inwards and outwards;
- Liaison with Suppliers and Customers;
- Knowledge of the local area;
- Following procedures associated with the locking and inspection of vehicles;
- Adherence to stringent security requirements;
- Installation of special delivery orders
- A manual driving license is mandatory to be considered for this position.
- Although not necessary a current HR license will be highly favored.
- Exposure and experience in dealing with customers
- Exceptional customer service
- Can do attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate recording of information
- Good driving record with Manual Vehicle License
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of 3PL operations
- Proven customer facing skills
- HR License is preferred.
