In this job you will:
As a Local Freight Officer at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grown professionally. Use your talents to lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology

• Secure delivery of items within specified time frames;
• Movement of Goods inwards and outwards;
• Liaison with Suppliers and Customers;
• Knowledge of the local area;
• Following procedures associated with the locking and inspection of vehicles;
• Adherence to stringent security requirements;

Computer recording of deliveries; and * Dispatch of orders.

• Installation of special delivery orders
• A manual driving license is mandatory to be considered for this position.
• Although not necessary a current HR license will be highly favored.

You have the following qualities & qualifications:

• Exposure and experience in dealing with customers
• Exceptional customer service
• Can do attitude
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate recording of information
• Good driving record with Manual Vehicle License
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of 3PL operations
• Proven customer facing skills
• HR License is preferred.
