Make a Difference: Be a champion for children's safety! We're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Family Violence Expert Advisor to join our dedicated team.
THE ROLE –
In this innovative and dynamic senior role, you will be responsible for providing operational and strategic advice to Child Protection Practitioners and their managers where a child is or may be in need of protection due to Family Violence.
- Improve assessment, planning and intervention in Child Protection investigations
- Contribute to an integrated and collaborative child-centred, family-focused service system.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to perpetrator behaviour and perpetrator-driven risk.
- Guide & support Child Protection Workers.

- Salary – SCHADS Award Level 6 | Pro-rata based on annual rate for full time of $102,554 P/A | + Superannuation | Annual indexation | Portable long service leave | Leave opportunities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leadership including the capacity to lead and support the team and individual staff.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of case management practices.
- Previous experience in crisis intervention and assessment with strong conflict resolution skills.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working with Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work (or trauma related field) and experience appropriate to the field (refer to Position Description).
