AddressWe seek a Specialist Family Violence Team Leader to join our growing team of skilled professionals at The Orange Door Sunshine. An ongoing position is available at our Sunshine hub. This role is available part-time (0.9 EFT) or full-time, ranging from a SCHADS Level 7 (between $110,907.68 to $115,537.24 plus superannuation).
GenWest (formerly Women’s Health West) is a Family Violence support service. We deliver programs that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives. We support people based in Melbourne’s west.

The Orange Door provides a specialist first point of contact for those experiencing Family Violence, those choosing to use violence and assessment of child and wellbeing needs. As a first point of contact, our staff provide a client centred, timely response which may take the form of Family Violence risk assessments, safety planning, child wellbeing assessments, brief intervention, and provision of referral pathways.
This role sits within an integrated team model, where experts work together from varying agencies to reduce the impact of Family Violence on victim survivors and increase service accountability. This integrated model is an incredible opportunity for upskilling, exposure, and Family Violence professionalism.
Responsibilities of this role:- Recruit, train, coach and mentor new and existing staff across the employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other service partners and provide Specialist Family Violence knowledge.
- Oversee service quality delivery adhering to various policies and procedures.
- Champion, drive and enact GenWest’s organisational purpose, mission, values and culture.
